Kano State Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo has accused a former member House of Representative Faruk Lawan and serving member House of Representatives Nasiru Sule Garo of destroying the entire result sheets of the contentious Gama Ward in Nassarawa Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner, who was widely accused of disrupting the collation process at the Ward, denied the allegation, and accused the supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of destroying the result sheet.
Garo who was allegedly manhandled by PDP supporters at the Nassarawa Local Government Collation Center, in their bid to stop him from gaining access to the venue, had his clothes torn in parts in the ensuing melee.
He revealed that, even before he and the Deputy Governor arrived the collation Centrer, after they got information that some PDP stalwarts were at the centre trying to disrupt the process, Faruk Lawan, Nasiru Sule Garo and other PDP stalwarts were seen tearing the result sheets without resistance at the presence of everybody including the security agents manning the collation centre.
The APC chieftain said himself along with all other people at the Collation Center were surprised with the action of duo, while the security agents did nothing to stop or arrest them.

continuing: he accused the state Police Commissioner of taking side with the PDP “ This Commissioner of Police has been compromised and is selective and we are not going to take it anymore, because he has not been fair to us at all.
“We were informed by our Party Agents, that some PDP stalwats were tearing result sheets of the contentious Gama Ward, that is what prompted His Excellency the Deputy Governor who is from Nassarawa to and get first hand information”.
