There’s nothing freer than Freestyle Love Supreme belting out freestyle raps on late night TV. Fact.
On Tuesday night, Lin-Manuel Miranda and his buddies from the Broadway cast of Freestyle Love Supreme visited The Tonight Show for an off-the-cuff round of “Pet Peeves.”
Miranda, the mastermind behind Hamilton, formed the improvisational hip-hop group with his college pals Thomas Kail and Anthony Veneziale.
They were totally in their zone on Fallon, where they jammed on things they don’t live, or even dislike, with a little help from the audience.
These are a few of your least favorite things: tomatoes, bunions, college, and open-seating offices. With some assistance from Questlove, those themes were mashed-up into verse. There's not much love for poor Karen, as Miranda points out.
